SIX YEARS!!

On June 27th we celebrated our SIX year anniversary! I really can't believe its been 6 years, I feel so old! We had such a fun day!

Chalkboard in our kitchen where we write messages to each other

We woke up bright and early to go do sealings - perfect way to start off our anniversary!

After work we went to dinner at one of our places, Cucina Toscana, yum!

After dinner, instead of driving home, Al drove to The Grand America! I was so surprised! He talked to my boss and got the next day off of work for me so we could just sleep in, order breakfast, etc. It was so fun to have the day off and relax.  The cutest part was that Al packed a little over night bag for me - so funny/cute to see the clothes, pjs, hair products, makeup, etc that he packed for me!

We ended the night watching our wedding video - my favorite part of the day since we only watch it on our anniversary! I am so cheesy and love watching it!

Thanks Al for the best 6 years of my life!

Maughan's Cabin

My sister-in-law, Eliza's, family is always so nice to invite us up to their cabin in Parley's for a delicious dinner, games and hiking. We always have sooo much fun and I look forward to it every year.

Beautiful hike

We love the see-saw!

Thanks Maughan's, can't wait for next year!

san clemente

Over Memorial Day my family spent a week in one of our favorite places, San Clemente, CA. It was sooo much fun and the perfect way to start summer.

Our first morning there we walked down to the pier to watch the surfers.

After our walk we headed straight to the beach for the entire day - and we got FRIED - like can't walk, can't talk, hurt so bad you want to cry, fried. But we still had a fun day!

The boys spent many hours playing Smash Ball

And we played lots of frisbee
Our first day there was Memorial Day and a guy spent hours sculpting this

That night we went over to the Irvine Spectrum for dinner and shopping

We love Rainbows in our fam, so we always have to go pick up a new pair but this year was the first year we signed the huge flip-flop!

Seeing as how we all got so burned the before, this is how we laid out the next day!

It was so fun having little baby Tee on the trip!

Later on we went over to South Coast Plaza for more shopping and to eat at my parents favorite restaurant Claim Jumper.

Wednesday was DISNEYLAND! My all-time FAVORITE place in the world - no joke! I seriously was counting down the days until we got to go! And as usual, it did not disappoint! It really is the happiest place on earth!

Our fav thing to do is to take funny pics on the rides

Tower of Terror is THE BEST

Dole Pineapple Whip - can you say YUM?!

Turkey legs - can you say GROSS?!

While us big kids went to D-Land - Bud, Lize and Tommy stayed in San Clemente. I had to share this pic because I love it - cutie Tom's.

Thursday we decided to brave the beach again and actually lather on sunscreen this time!

Our Lou's love to hang out with us

That night we went over to Newport for dinner at Blue Beet (thanks Moffitt's for introducing us to it). It was so good and we happened to go on a night where everything was six bucks! Score!

After dinner we walked around gorgeous Newport

The pier and beaches are so fun and pretty

My cutest papa

We all loved playing with Tee

Friday was my cousin Kerry's wedding!
It was so much fun going to the LA Temple - so pretty!

After the temple we drove around Santa Monica and Beverly Hills and then got some In N Out.  Fun times when you spill it all down your dress - NOT!

Her wedding was in Camarillo at the Maravilla Gardens and it was gorgeous - to see more pictures look at her feature on Ruffled. It was the perfect California, summer wedding and Im so glad we were able to go!

Having too much fun with the photo booth

Saturday was our last day so we stayed at the beach for as many hours as we could!

Twinners

That night we walked around the shops in San Clemente and ate at Selma's.

Me and Meg were twinsies

Our drive home - 7 of us in a suburban with us 3 squished in the back for some reason, good times!
We had so much fun and were soo sad to leave! I'm already counting down until next year and dreaming of the beach, Disneyland, Pedro's Tacos, Surfin' Donuts, The Bagel Shack, shopping and more. Can't wait!
