Wallsburg

If you remember from last year, we are able to go up to Wallsburg, UT with the General Young Women's Board and their families to The Ashton's amazing barn for a big summer party.  It is definitely a highlight of our summer. This place is the epitome of a perfect summer day - fresh cut grass, a big red barn, zip line over the grass, zip line into a lake, canoeing, good food, popsicles, tennis, a monster slip n' slide, and more.

View while laying on the grass drying off

Nothing feels better than falling into a fresh lake in the summer!

 Jack was loving it

We love Sister Dalton!!

It is so much fun and I REALLY hope this wasn't our last time up there! :)

bags are packed

At the end of August the Bagley's family had to say bye to two of the Bagley girls as they upped and moved away from us all!  Even though there are six Bagley kids I didn't really ever picture of any us moving away so it was so weird to learn that not one, but two of the siblings would be leaving UT for bigger and better things - and they were moving the exact same week! What are the odds?!

Since it was such a HUGE deal to have them leave us, I knew that we had to send them out in style so we decided to have one last hurrah in my parents backyard.

Our little theme was "Bags Are Packed" because #1 - They were literally packing their bags, and #2 - "Bags" are packed, as in "Bagley's", as in Brooke and Megan Bagley - lame and cheesy I know haha, but it was fitting!

I am obsessed with this pic of my dad and Jack, they are best buds
YUMMY and such cute cookies from Granite Bakery - the AZ and TX flags turned out amazing!!

Lize made such cute "You Moving Away Really BLOWS" suckers

After the party the sisters has one last slumber party like the good ol' days - we even busted out Saved By The Bell

A few days later, right before they were both moving - we had a girls lunch at Roots Cafe, it was so much fun. I miss you guys more than you know but luckily we have FaceTime so I can see you often!!

Love and miss you!

Jackson x2

Obviously everyone knows how much we love Jackson Hole -  we go up multiple times a year. But our favorite trip and the one we look most forward too is the July trip with the entire Rawlings clan.  Our week is packed full of hikes, biking and of course boating on the more beautiful lake in the world!

On our way up to meet the fam!

Stuck in construction :(

Our first day up there we rented bikes again and rode the same route as last time.

We looove boating on such a gorgeous, perfectly glassy lake - even though its freeeeezing!

This year the water felt amazing since it was so hot outside!

We love to eat at our fav, Mangy Moose in Teton Village

Bud, Lize and Tee

Fun hike around Jenny Lake to the waterfalls

Showing Jack the Tetons at Jackson Lake Lodge

Our favorite nightly hang out - shakes and games at the lodge

Souvenir shades

Boating over to Leek's Marina for pizza

The entire fam!

The boys woke up early one morning to head to Driggs, ID and play Huntsman Springs

The sunset was seriously amazing our last night there - how can we not be obsessed with this place?! Its our Heaven on Earth!!

4th of July

We had such a fun 4th of July as usual, how can the 4th of July NOT be fun? It's only the best holiday!

On the 3rd of July Maddie and Jordan had us over to their house for front row seats to the Riverton Parade! I had never been to it before but it was so much fun! The floats were seriously amazing and their house is right on the street where it goes by so we literally had the best seats in the house!

On the 4th of July we kept the tradition alive by going swimming at my parents with the entire fam. It was the perfect day and we were all very patriotic with our swimwear!

That night my dad cooked us up a delicious BBQ and then we went to see the Holladay City fireworks which were pretty amazing until we realized how close we were to them and had fireballs coming down on us and Buddy had to be taken to the ER because he got ash in his eye! Not good. But it was still such a fun 4th!

Being NERDS!

Jackson x1

At the end of June us, my parents and Katie decided to go up to Jackson for a quick getaway.  Even though it was only a couple of days it was sooo fun.  The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to get away from the UT heat and dry air!

We spent all day Friday on bikes.  It was the first time I had road biked in Jackson and it quickly became our new favorite thing to do there.  It is so much more fun biking through the Teton's rather then quickly driving and not paying attention to how beautiful it is there.

Gorgeous Jenny Lake

We biked about 25 miles I think and if my butt didn't KILL I could have gone more!

The Tetons are soooo gorgeous.

After biking we drove further into the park to eat pizza at Leek's Marina

Then of course we needed to go get ice cream cones at Colter Bay

Saturday we walked around town to shop, eat and hang out.

Al and my dad found a comfy spot in Town Square to read and listen to the band.

We walked over to eat lunch at our fav, Fav, FAVORITE place in Jackson, Billy's - and.they.were.closed. For good! We had NO idea and were shocked.  We have been going there for years and we love it, especially Al. He was obsessed - and not very happy when we realized that it was gone and replaced with a new restaurant. RIP Billy's.

We were forced to eat elsewhere and then packed up to go home. Thanks parents and Katie for such a fun trip!
