the last of it

Our last month of summer has been nuts, we have been sooo busy--but in a good way!
For Labor Day we went to my parents and hung out all day then had a BBQ that night.

The boys playing Kubbs--Al's new favorite German game.

Then a few days later we went to The Lion King! I had seen this play before in NYC but it had been sooo long and my seats in NYC were horrible so I loved every second of seeing it here.

The next night we went to the Greek Festival with Jensen and Fran. It hadn't been to the festival since I was little and we had a ton of fun. The food was delish!

Jensen was supporting his country on 9/11!

Moving on to this past week....

Gorgeous Jane and cute Blake's wedding!

It was at the Salt Lake Country Club and everything was perfect-they has such great weather and the food was amazing!

Congrats Jane and Blake-xoxo

And finally this last weekend we went to the State Fair with Meg and Jon! I had never been to a fair and have been wanting to go for years so we finally went!

SICK food...just looking at this makes me sick. I have never eaten such unhealthy food in my life! And I was paying for it after we went on Starship 4000 (I think that's what it was called. You know, the Gravitron? - remember this ride from the 49th Street Galleria days?) I felt soo sick after.

The end :(

Summer is almost officially over and even though I am pretty sad about it, I am excited for leaves changing, pumpkin patch visits, pumpkin pie and boots and scarves!

Eden

I am almost caught up on posting my summer pictures and I am so sad that summer is about over! I loooove fall but I am just not ready to give up my rainbow flip-flops, shorts and 2 months of not blow drying my hair!

One of the last things we did this summer was take a trip up Ogden Canyon to Eden with some Daybreak friends. Meg and Nate invited us up to stay at their home at Trappers Ridge and it was such a fun getaway.

The night we got there we stayed up eating candy and playing Catch Phrase.

Saturday we worked out/went swimming for a few hours.

Love this little munchkin!
That night we went to dinner at Harley and Bucks with Meg and Nate's awesome coupons...thanks guys!

It was Kylee's birthday so we surprised her with a little party!
Thanks Meg and Nate!

Daybreak BBQ

I don't know how many times I am going to say this, but I loooove my neighborhood! We seriously have the funnest group of people that surround us. We have been extremely blessed with such great neighbors, ward members and friends. I feel like we have been friends forever.

We hadn't gotten together with anyone in sooo long until a few weeks ago when Kim and Blair had a group of us over for a BBQ in their newly finished backyard!

Hobblecreek Half

No, it wasnt me who ran the Hobblecreek Half Marathon, it was my amazing mother! This was her 3rd half marathon and she finished at 1:57:44! Im still working on being able to run a mile, dont worry-Ill get there someday! I definitly did not get the running gene in my family. Did any of us?!
The Sansom's and my parents

The race started an hour late and we didnt know that until we drove down to Springville at 7am- therefore we had a lot of time to kill. So we decided to make posters!
