she's home!

my little sis is finally home! she went on a 3 week european backpacking trip with her bf jon, and his friends tally and mike. 3 weeks may not seem like a long time, but when meg and i talk multiple times a day, go to lunch, run errands, text when we're not talking, etc...its a long time!

they went to germany, the netherlands, england, france, italy, switerland, austria and prauge. im SO jealous. from the pictures i have seen it looks like they had an amazing time, i cant wait see meg tonight and look at more pics!

love you sis, missed you. im glad you got home safe and sound!

Oquirrh Mountain Temple

Next Monday, June 1st, the Oquirrh Mountain Temple (click on the link for some cool pics of the building process) opens up its doors for the public open houses! I cant even tell you how excited I am to have a temple a few streets away from my house...and I thought living 10 mins away from the Jordan River Temple was awesome! With it being only a few seconds from my house I should probably be going twice a month now!

We, like pretty much everyone who lives in Daybreak, just came out to "look"and see what Daybreak was all about, and we all ending up moving here! I really do feel like I was meant to move to Daybreak and I know that living so close to the temple is one of the reasons why. It has been incredible watching the building process and I cant believe that its finally done!

All of you out there better come out to Daybreak and visit the temple...and me while your at it! (If its a night or weekend!) You can get your tickets here, or if its like the Draper Temple open houses just show up with no tickets and I'm sure you'll be fine.

my 24th!

I had such a fun birthday this year thanks to Al, my family and my friends...thanks everyone!! I cant believe Im 24...Im getting old. :(

My birthday weekend started off on the Thursday night before my bday with my high school friends taking me to dinner at Olive Garden and then to get my favorite treat, Red Mango. Thanks girls!

The night before my birthday me and Al went to our FAVORITE sushi place, Takashi (I highly recommend it!). We took some pics but they got deleted accidentally, oops! But it was SO good, thanks Hogan's for the gift certificate!

My birthday morning started off with breakfast with all my neighborhood gals at Katie's darling house, it was so fun and yummy! Thanks guys, lets please do breakfast more often! I then went shopping with my parents all day and to dinner with my family that night. Then we went back to my parents and watched one of my favorite movies, Bedtime Stories.

Al got me the present I have wanted ever since I first saw the commercial...a Snuggie!! If you know me you know that I love to whaller around the house in pj's and a blanket so naturally I HAD to have a Snuggie...and I love it! We even got a free book light, yay!

The day after my bday we had Sunday dinner at my parents, went to my grandma's house for a bit, and then went back to my parents for cake and ice cream.

To top it all off my friend Meghan took me to dinner on Monday at another favorite, Zupas!

Thanks everyone for FIVE days of birthday fun! Until next year when I turn 25, ugh...

Sar's 24th Birthday!!

Hi everyone. I don't know if Sarah has ever mentioned this but I'm not a big fan of social networking. So this is pretty rare for me. But I wanted to have my first post be about my beautiful bride Sarah on her 24th Birthday!

Sarah is my very best friend and I want her to know how much I love her! She has some how managed to put up with me and I can't believe how incredibly lucky I am to have found such an amazing girl.

She will always be a 16 year old at heart which I really love. (I didn't realize that she would turn me into a 16 year old girl right along with her. I love Jason from the Bachelor and the Wicked cd on repeat for the last year and half. The David Archaleta obsession. I cant get enough of Zack Efron and I wish I could see High School musical just one more time!! ha ha just kidding Sar.)

I really am the luckiest guy in the world to have her in my life. She NEVER puts herself first and is always thinking about others and what she can do to help. She is an amazing example to me with patience and a caring heart.

I can't get enough of her smile! Her eyes crinkle up and it puts me in a good mood no matter what! She can always make me laugh and she never gives up on me! She is gorgeous and I think she is absolutely beautiful!
