jordan + maddie

On May 6th Alan's sister, Maddie, got married to cute Jordan! They had the most perfect day!

They got married at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple

My two sisters-in-law

After the temple they had a small luncheon at Wadley Farms in Lindon and it was soo pretty, they lucked out with the most gorgeous spring day. The flowers were beautiful and the weather could not have been more perfect.

Every detail was amazing and unique, it fit Maddie and Jordan perfectly

They looked gorgeous on their own so together they were stunning!

The cake topper was Maddie's grandparents at their wedding 65 years ago, I loved that she used it. I also loved her idea for a sign-in book -- everyone wrote on pieces of fabric that they are having made into a quilt!

How cute is Sawyer? I just love him!

Stunning right?!

The Hogan Family

The getaway car....they wanted to drive away in Maddie's grandparents 1960's Ford Galaxy!

Unfortantly it wouldnt make it be able to make it from Lindon to Salt Lake so they came back later and got in the real getaway car!

Congrats Maddie and Jordan! I loved every detail of the wedding and am so excited for you guys! xoxo

one year older

I had THE BEST birthday this year thanks to all my amazing family and friends, and most importantly my wonderful Al :) I thought having a Monday birthday would be lame because Mondays are never fun, but that was I was able to celebrate all weekend long!

The weekend before my bday, and a few days after Al's, we went out to one of our favorites, CPK, to celebrate both of our bdays....I could seriously eat there everyday!

The day before my birthday was Jack's blessing and it was so fun being at church with almost my entire family (we missed you Chad and Brooke!), its been years since that happened! Benji did such a good job and Jack was perfect!

After the blessing we went back to my parents for a little birthday dinner complete with Hawaiian Haystacks, a Nothing Bundt Cake and Starlight Mint ice cream cones! :)

It was also a goodbye party for Katie since she was leaving for Thailand the next day for 7 weeks!

On my actual birthday I woke up and went to work as normal, thinking that the celebrations were over....

Until Al showed up at my work at noon and kidnapped me for the rest of the day!

We went to lunch at my favorite place, Citris Grill, then went shopping, to a movie, dinner and then watched a movie at home that night-well if you consider Glee Encore a movie, Al got it for me for my birthday and I'm obsessed with it! All the Glee performances without having to watch the episodes, genius!

When I walked in the door this is what I saw! Al had decorated the house for me!

I am soooo lucky to have him! It was the most perfect day thanks to him and to all of you! I have the best friends and family in the world who spoiled me like crazy with phone calls, texts, facebooks, lunches, dinners, bday movie night, gifts and more! I love you all!

Cake Pops!

For those of you who asked here is the tutorial I used to make my cake pops.

It takes a little practice but is lots of fun, and they are sooo good!

You can use whatever cake/frosting mixture you want! I like chocolate so I used a German chocolate cake mix with cream cheese frosting, but anything works! To make polka-dots or stripes pour a little melted chocolate into a plastic baggie and cut a TINY hole in the corner.

I used about 3/4 can of frosting and the Melting Chocolate from Hobby Lobby (along with everything else), but Im sure chocolate bark works great too.

Good luck!

Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend started off on Saturday morning with breakfast at my parents with the fam!

We had a Bagley favorite - Thinnies aka crepes! Typically we have them with just butter and sugar, but since it was Easter we decided to fancy them up a bit with fruit, Nutella and whip cream.....yuuuuummm

Thinnies
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups milk
1 cup flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cooking oil
mix together until smooth - pour 1/2 cup for each thinnie onto hot and butter griddle
serve with butter, sugar, toppings, etc. enjoy!

We had another Bagley favorite - Orange Julius!

Orange Julius
3 oz (half of a small can) frozen orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
6 ice cubes
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
place all ingredients together in blender, whip and serve immediately.

We of course had to dye eggs
(Well mainly me and Katie, yes we still act like little kids - I dont think Ill ever grow out of my holiday traditions)

On Sunday we went over to Alan's parents for an Easter/Birthday dinner

Cute Sawyer hunting for eggs

Singing for our birthday's

Al's mom got us pretty funny, musical cards

Meg's Showers

In case you havent heard, Meg and Jon are finally getting hitched after 4.5 years of dating! Wahoo! The blessed event is coming up quick and last week was the week of showers!

The first one was at my house with my dad's side of the fam! Even though we planned it during a horrible week (Spring Break), and not many people could come (which was probably better because my house wouldnt have been able to fit everyone!), it was still sooo much fun! I LOVE seeing my cousins and aunts. It was so fun chatting all night!

Most of the Bagley gals! Im glad we were able to get the shower in since two of my sisters moved for the next few months, Brooke and Chad went to TX and Katie is on her way to Thailand!
Gorgeous Meg

Cute Polly and Abby

Ive been attempting cake pops lately! Mine arent the most pretty but they taste dang good.
Thanks for coming family! We missed those who couldnt make it!

The second shower was her Friends/Bridemaids shower! Amy and Lindsey put it together and Im so glad I was able to go!
