Apple Dip

I just have to share this recipe because its the absolute BEST! Trust me! You will want to eat it with a spoon - or on a roll like Al's grandpa did! I make it all the time and everyone asks for the recipe so I decided to blog it. It's perfect for parties, or anytime, and is seriously addicting. I got this recipe from a neighbor when we first moved to Daybreak and have since adapted it a little. Enjoy! :)

8 oz. block of Cream Cheese, softened
3/4 c. Brown Sugar
1/2 c. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
3/4 c. Toffee Bits
1/2 c. Mini Chocolate Chips
6-7 Granny Smith Apples

Combine cream cheese, brown sugar, powered sugar & vanilla. Mix with mixer. Mix in toffee and chocolate chips. Slice apples and serve. YUM!

ps - did everyone's blogger change?! what the? not liking the change.

March Madness

I can't believe March has flown by and we're already in to the middle of April. Hallelujah! I am more than ready for spring, summer, warm weather, sunshine, trips, our bdays, anniversary and more. The first few months of the year are a big time drag for me.

Anyways - it's my goal to get back into the blogging mode. I'm pretty sure no one reads blogs anymore, let alone my blog. Not as many people blog anymore I feel like, but I still love to look at blogs - from my phone, when I can, because my laaaaame work blocked pretty much all internet sites! And the last thing I want to do at night after staring at a computer all day is come home to more time on a computer. Hence the lack of blogging. And the fact that Instagramming is soo much easier and quicker than blogging! But I'm back. I blog for me, for my documentation, for my journaling, etc. and since I've kept it up for so many years I need to keep it up. Plus - this post and this one have also helped inspire me to keep up this little bloggity of mine. I love Marta's post on being personal in your blogging. I want my blog to showcase my real life - not just the pictures and fun times we have, but the real life things that are going on with me so I can look back and remember the good times, and the hard time.

Sorry to ramble - this is what happens after a long day of staring at a computer and then coming home to stare at one even longer! March flew by, for reals, I barely even remember what happened last month?! Thank goodness I have my trusty little iPhone to document it all - who pulls out a camera anymore when they have an iPhone 4s?? A flash and zoom on a camera phone is amazing. I'm rambling again. Here is what our March looked like....
