Priscila's Shower

A few weeks ago we threw my best friend Priscila a bridal shower at my parent's for her upcoming wedding and it was so much fun! It is always fun to see friends and chat with the girls for a few hours. The shower turned out perfect and Pris some great stuff. Congrats Pris, I love you and I can't wait for August 29th!

aMeRiCaN iDoL!!!

Last night I went to the American Idol concert with two of my sisters and it was AMAZING! My dad got the tickets for us on Monday and he got us 5th row on the floor--they were awesome! Most of you learned from THIS post how obsessed I am with David Archuleta, (ya he's 17 and Im 23 & married, big deal) so I was extremely excited to see him. But I watched American Idol religiously this season so I couldnt wait to see them all, and they did not disappoint! Archie was especially awesome when he sang Apologize by One Republic. It was so much fun and Im so glad I got to go...thanks for the awsome seats dad!

Good Luck Morgan's!

This Saturday our good friends Bryson & Kristin Morgan are off to a new adventure at Harvard Law School!! A few weeks ago we had a big BBQ at Jeff and Lindsay's to say goodbye. It was a lot of fun to get together with all of our friends, but sad to say bye. Good luck Bryson & Kristin, and congratulations Bryson! I cant wait to come visit! Love ya!

4th of July

We had such a fun weekend...first of all it was so nice only having to work four days this week!! Our weekend started off with me going to Red Mango with my friends! Yum. (Tibett lets go more often!) Then we woke up early Friday morning and met my family at the annual 4th of July Breakfast at Brighton Ski Resort that the singles ward in my parents stake puts on each year. My family started going when my dad was called as Bishop to that ward years ago and we've been going ever since. Three of my siblings are in the ward and my dad is assigned to be the High Councilor for the ward so most of my family was working at the breakfast. If you haven't gone you should go next year, it's a lot of fun...there is a band, a parade and it's so pretty up there! Next we went swimming at my parents all day and had a BBQ and then headed to the Salt Lake Country Club for fireworks. We decided to take a little weekend getaway to my parents and we slept there Friday night and spent all day Saturday swimming, had another BBQ and went to a movie. Then on our way home I made Al stop by Red Mango again! I love it! We had such a great 4th of July, thanks parents for letting us live there this weekend!

Mamma Mia Weekend

Last weekend we took a quick trip to Vegas to see Mamma Mia! We had so much fun! Mamma Mia was SO cute, I loved it. And we had front row seats! I cant wait to see the movie now! We went to the pool both days, went shopping, ate dinner, and of course ate at In-N-Out. It was a short little getaway but it was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary!
