Christmas Cousins Night

If you don't know Marta you really should, or start reading her blog at least. Same with Whitney. I am lucky enough to call them my cousins and the weekend before Christmas they hosted the most perfect Christmas GNO with the aunts and cousins. Marta had us all over to her new, darling house for a relaxing night that included a mini yoga session by the oh so talented Whit follow by an assortment of yummy pot-luck dishes.

During our second helpings of dinner the power went out! Which ended up being the hit of night and created the most ideal, Christmas atmosphere!

We gathered together with candles and quilts to exchange gifts.

Thanks Mart, Whit and everyone else who put this night together. Can't wait for this new tradition!

Baby Flynn

My 5th nephew (the 4th one this year!,) Flynn Jader Leao was born a few weeks ago! He is the cutest little thing and its so fun being surrounded by all these cute little boys!

Christmas Time

Is it really Christmas weekend already? Wow that came up quick. I feel like we have been sooo busy. But good busy.

At the beginning of the month we hung out with Maddie and Jordan. Jordan made us homemade pizza, then we went to the lights and got the.best.hot.chocolate.in.the.world at Hatch's.

The next weekend we went with my family to dinner and to see the one and only, Kurt Bestor.

The next night Linds and Jeff had our DG besties over for dinner and gingerbread house making. Except we never got to the gingerbread part, Pris brought sugar cookies for dessert and the girls ended up decorating (or maybe just eating?) cookies and chatting all night while the boys hung out and watched sports. Thanks Linds for the fun night!

Daybreak Christmas Party

I will say this a thousand times over but we love the friends we have met in our neighborhood. They are some of my very best friends and I am so grateful for their friendship. At the beginning of the month we all got together for a progressive dinner, it was so fun with such yummy food!

Our first stop was Brittney's for appetizers.

We went to Keila's for a Cafe Rio style dinner.

Then we went to Meg's for dessert and Christmas Carol Charades...the games were hilarious!

I've always thought that Thanksgiving is such an under-rated holiday. I LOVE it! And luckily ours works our perfect with our two fams. We started the day off at noon with Thanksgiving at Tuscany with my family. As usual it did not disappoint!
