2nd Annual Friends Halloween Party
This past weekend we attended our friends annual Halloween party hosted by Annie and Megan. It was such a blast! We enjoyed great food, funny games, the boys watched the World Series while the girls chatted, and of course we had a huge dance party! The costumes were hilarious and very clever. They included...Al and I as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell (my mother-in-law made our awesome costumes!), Tiger Woods and his caddie, Barbie and Ken, Venus Williams and Rodger Federer, a pregnant nun and a preist, yodelers, super heroes, Pocahontas and John Smith, pirates, army and more. It was so much fun...thanks Meg and Annie! PS...thanks to all the bloggers out there for the pics that I stole!

ALAN AND SARAH SIMPSON
In case you guys didn't know, Al is in a big Simpson's phase right now! He watches the DVD's every night and wants to buy a new season every week. He was ecstatic when my brother told us about this website...http://www.simpsonizeme.com/. You upload a picture and it will "Simpsonize" you! It's so funny! Try it out!
Witches Night Out
Last weekend my friends and I met up at Gardner Village for Witches Night Out. It was so much fun! I have never seen anything like it...the parking was nuts, Archibald's had a 4 hour wait, there was music, food, the shops were open late and there were a million witches everywhere! Although it was so much fun, we decided to go eat dinner somewhere else so we could chat and catch-up!

Katie's Birthday!!
On October 17th my little sis and the baby of our family turned 17! She is getting so old! We met the fam at Foothill Village and shopped around for a bit and then ate at TGI Fridays to celebrate Katie's big day as well as my parents 29th wedding anniversary! The manager made an ice cream sundae on top of Katie's head and all the servers sang to her! Then we went back to my parents for the Hannah Montana cake!, ice cream and for opening presents! It was such a fun night...Happy Birthday Chunk!!!

New calling...
So as most of you know we just moved into a new house, new city, and new neighborhood...which means a new ward and a new calling! Because our ward is so gigantic I was hoping that I'd just fade into the background and never have to speak or get a new calling...but of course I was wrong! Last week a member of the bishopric called to set up an appointment...yea for me! So I went in not knowing what to expect but hoping that I wouldn't be called to teach relief society or anything like that! I was actually hoping that it'd be something to do with young women's...and to my surprise it was! But it definitely was not the young women's calling I had hoped for...I'm the Young Women's Camp Director! Don't get me wrong, I am SO excited and I think it will be so fun...but a 22 year old planning young women's camp? It just doesn't sound right! I still feel young enough to be a young woman, not planning girls camp for them! But I know that it is meant to be and I am so grateful for it! I am a little nervous, but thankfully I have the ultimate Young Woman for a mom (she's served in the Young Women's for as long as I can remember) who will help me out! It's a great opportunity and I'm really looking forward to it!
In the meantime Al still hadn't gotten a calling...until last night! He was called to teach Elders Quorum! This is a perfect calling for him and he is thrilled!
We are both so excited to serve and get more involved in our ward!

Life before Grey's...

i just have to make a post about the show im most passionate about...Grey's. i honestly don't know how i lived so long without it! the characters, the stories, the love, the heartbreak, the laughter, and of course the drama! i truly am obsessed! i watched seasons 1 & 2 on dvd in about a week, which was amazing...shows are so much better when watching them on dvd. and then i watched season 3 week to week. season 1 was ok...too short. season 2 was seriously incredible. season 3 was pretty good...and i can already tell that season 4 is going to be amazing! its pretty pathetic that my life revolves around sometimes lame, sometimes trashy, but very addicting tv shows...i love and crave it!

love/hate relationship...
i have such a love/hate relationship with fall. i love the colors, the smell, the crisp air, the seasons, the clothes...but i absolutely hate being cold! i love the summer...the warmth, the bright sky, the longer days, the feeling. this is why i feel truly blessed living in utah....being able to experience all four seasons. although i do miss the summer, fall is so beautiful and its a nice change!

HaPpY 23Rd mEg!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEG!! What can I say...you've been the bestest friend a girl could ask for! And I can't believe you're already 23! It seems like just yesterday we were turning 12! Ever since 7th grade when you let me into your "cool group" of friends, I have owed you big time! From sneaking out, singing Backstreet Boys, crying, laughing, venting, watching TV, and playing with hair...to both of our weird health issues in high school, attempting to work-out, being neighbors, doing homework, cheating on tests and much much more...you have always been there for me! I love you so much and I don't know what I'd do without you! Happy Birthday!
