date night

A date night with my high school friends was LONG overdue and it was so fun to finally get together! Its weird how life takes you from being inseparable from these girls to working full time, being married, living far away and having babies!

A few weeks ago we met up at The Old Spaghetti Factory, which I hadn't been to in forever and actually loved. It was good to finally all be together and catch up. The thing I love about this group is that its ok for the girls to sit at one end of the table and the boys to sit at the other end-who needs to talk to their husband when they have their girlfriends right?

october 17th

Last Saturday was my parents 31st wedding anniversary and my little sister's 19th bday! I cant believe that the little baby in my fam is already 19! For the big day me and my sister Meg cleaned my mom's house for her and Al washed her windows. Then Katie came up and the girls went to get a pedicure.

On Sunday we had a birthday dinner for Katie. Instead of cake we made her favorite dessert, chocolate wafers layered with whipping cream and refrigerated for a few hours to soften. Yum!

Sawyer!!

On October 14th Al and I became a Uncle Al and Aunt Sar!! Al's sister had the cutest little baby boy, Sawyer Jeffrey. He is so darling and we love him so much!

First went to see him at the hospital after he was born.

My brother Benj is engaged to his perfect match Rachel and they are getting married next week! Last weekend we had a few showers for them.

The first shower was last Saturday with my mom's side of the family at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was fun to get together with all of the Rawlings girls, the food was SO good and the view of the temple was amazing!

Thanks again for everyone who voted, we had so much fun! She got sick which kind of ruined a thing or two but we still got to meet her and get a pic with her. The concert was so good, she ran off the stage sick a few times but other than that we had a blast!
